This means that we only engage in the practices described in this Notice in a particular country or region if permitted under the laws of those places.
III. What Personal Data We Collect
A. Data Provided by You
We collect data provided by you when you create or update your Rydex accounts, use our services, or contact us. This includes:
●User Profile Data: Name, email, phone number, login name and password, address, profile photo, and signature.
●Identity Verification Data: We may collect photos of government-issued IDs (such as driver’s licenses, passports, or national ID cards) and user-submitted selfies. This may include biometric data generated from such photos to verify your identity and age.
●Payment Data: Details of your payment methods, including credit/bank card info, related payment verification information, and transaction history on the Rydex platform.
●Demographic Data: Age, gender, and language preferences.
●User Content: Information you submit when you contact Rydex customer support, provide ratings or feedback for other users, or respond to surveys.B. Data Created During Use of Our Services
This includes data created when you use our apps, websites, and other services.
●Geolocation Data: We collect precise or approximate location data from your mobile device if you enable us to do so. For drivers and delivery persons, we collect this data when the app is running in the foreground or background (permission: `ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION`) to enable ride matching, navigation, and trip tracking. For riders, we collect this data when the app is running in the foreground and may collect it in the background if enabled for specific features like safety monitoring.
●Audio and Microphone Data: We may collect audio data if you use features that require the microphone (permission: `RECORD_AUDIO`), such as voice commands, in-app voice communication, or safety recording features where available.
●Files and Media: We request access to your device's storage and gallery (permissions: `READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`, `READ_MEDIA_IMAGES`) to allow you to upload profile pictures, identity documents, or evidence for support tickets.
●App Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our services, including access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, app crashes, and browser type.
●Transaction Data: Details related to your use of our services, including the type of service requested, date and time the service was provided, amount charged, distance traveled, and payment method used.
●Device Data: Data about the devices used to access our services, including hardware models, device IP address, operating systems and versions, unique device identifiers, and mobile network data. We also request permissions for features like vibration (`VIBRATE`) and screen wake (`WAKE_LOCK`) to ensure you receive critical alerts during a trip.
●Notifications: We request permission to send you notifications (`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`) regarding ride status, account updates, and promotional offers. We may also use exact alarms (`SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM`) to ensure timely delivery of these notifications.
●Communication Data: We enable users to communicate with each other and Rydex via our apps and websites. We collect data regarding these communications, including the time, date, and content of the messages. We also facilitate calls and SMS between users (using `tel` and `sms` schemes) without revealing your actual phone number where possible.C. Data from Other Sources

●With Other Parties at Your Request: E.g., sharing your estimated time of arrival and location with a friend at your request.

A. Data Retention

●Account Data: We retain your account information for as long as you maintain your Rydex account.
●Legal and Regulatory Data: We may retain certain data (e.g., transaction records, tax data) for up to 10 years after your last trip to comply with laws and regulations.
●Identity Verification Data: Photos of IDs are typically deleted within 48-72 hours of verification, though we may retain the verification status for as long as you have an account.
●Safety and Fraud Prevention: We may retain data for up to 7 years (or longer if required) if necessary for safety incidents, fraud prevention, or defending against legal claims.
●Communications Data: Chat messages between users are typically retained for 90 days unless related to a reported incident.Following an account deletion request, Rydex deletes the user's account and data, unless they must be retained due to legal or regulatory requirements, for purposes of safety, security, and fraud prevention, or because of an issue relating to the user's account such as an outstanding credit or an unresolved claim or dispute.
B. Data Security
The security of your personal data is a priority. We use commercially acceptable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
